- End-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer via WebRTC — your screen does not get stored on a Sharry media server.

How to watch a Sharry session on TV

Start a session on your computer
Open sharry.live, create a session, and copy the invite link (or note the Session ID and password).

Open a browser on the TV side
Use a Chromecast with Google TV (browser from the Play Store), a smart TV built-in browser, or any HDMI device with its own browser.

Join the session
On that browser, open the invite link — or go to sharry.live/join and enter the Session ID and password.

Start sharing from the host
On your computer click Share Screen, pick a tab, window, or the full display. The TV viewer sees it in real time.
Honest caveats
- Fullscreen controls on some TV browsers are still rough — we’re improving this.
- You need a browser that can open HTTPS pages on the TV device; not every smart TV ships one.
- Picture quality depends on the TV browser and your network; wired or solid Wi‑Fi helps.
